In 1992, Sydney Road witnessed the birth of a New Restaurant which has now become one of Melbourne’s dining institutions. In it's 14 year history this Establishment has racked up numerous Awards:
Australian Achiever Awards Highly Recommended 1999, 2000, 2001, 2005.

Curly Joe's has been home to thousands of people who love good Italian and Contemporary food at affordable prices. The Head Chef Adrian Cipriani and his Team prepare uncomplicated Italian Style meals that have proven to be successful with the clientele in Melbourne for many years. People enjoy eating the fresh hand made Gnocchi, tender pieces of Veal Scallopini or a delightful Caesar Salad just to name a few. The Kitchen team also prepare a selection of Specialty Dishes that change regularly such as: Osso Bucco, Lamb Shanks, Duck Specialty, Prawn and Crab Ravioli as well as Special Cuts of Meat like Rib Eye and more. The Seafood arrives Fresh daily and whether it is the Shucked Oysters, the Fish of the Day or Scampi, rest assured that Fresh is the operative word! Great food needs a good drop and Curly's has a good solid Wine List to choose from.
This Restaurant also encompasses a Family History that have been making Pizzas for 35 years and the Presentation and Taste of that Product is quickly recognizable as a Great Pizza! The great food is complimented by very friendly, caring efficient service from our floor staff, to make your Dining Experience very comfortable.
The Restaurant is the Perfect Setting for any occasion, whether it be a Business Lunch, Intimate Dinner, Family Gathering or a Date out with Friends the atmosphere at this Institution satisfies all!!
Within the Restaurant there is also a well-appointed Fully Private Function Room called "RICCIO BAR" that can seat up to 90 people and is set up for Corporate or Personal Functions ( See link Page for Details). There is easy Car Parking access in the streets located directly behind Curly's
